i received a complimentary upgrade to a top floor room with a balcony. it provided views of the pedestrian street and commerce square. i was offered a complimentary port and custard upon arrival, a very welcome touch. the staff was very helpful and friendly. i found the location convenient, close to many attractions.
the air conditioning took a little while to reach the right temperature.

The room felt quite small. there was also a noticeable sewage smell coming from the bathroom. I had to keep the door closed. the noise from the busy street was pretty bad until late at night. Earplugs are definitely needed! it was hard to relax.

The location was amazing. i really liked the staff. They were so helpful with directions. the breakfast was also yummy, with many fresh pastries to select from. the complimentary port wine and pastel de nata at reception was a nice touch too!
The street outside can be a little noisy at night. Earplugs could be useful.
