the room smelled like cigarette smoke i noticed this immediately. the bed was not comfy i didn't sleep well. i could hear everything in the room next door including conversations and snoring i found this disturbing.

The staff were friendly and helpful (a real asset to this hotel). The room was very comfy and tidy, with tea and coffee available. I found the location to be very central to the town, made exploring easy. Free parking was a definite plus.

I noticed the room décor looked a bit dated, it could use some updating to freshen it up.

The hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I found parking easy enough, though spaces were limited. The bar had a good selection of drinks, too.

There wasn't a lift. I was on the third floor which was difficult with my luggage. My room seemed to be above the bar. I could hear the music quite clearly.
