mediocre stay with issues

small bathroomdated fixtures
The room size felt small, especially considering the price. the bathroom was particularly cramped. Its layout wasnt functional. also, the quality of the fixtures felt dated for a four-star hotel. noise wasnt good too.

A balanced experience

amazing foodbreakfast buffetfriendly staffsoft pillowsmall spa
The breakfast buffet offered many options. The staff were friendly. The food at the onsite restaurant was amazing I thought. Free parking was a nice touch too.
The spa was smaller than I thought it would be. I could see that the swimmingpool fits only a few people. The pillow was also too soft.

Solid Choice for a Visit

various amenitiesgood selectiontasty foodreasonable prices
The room included many amenities such as a razor, comb, and sewing kit. The breakfast offered a very good selection of choices each morning. Staff members were helpful when I needed assistance with a sightseeing tour (one tour had issues). The restaurant provides tasty food at reasonable prices (I enjoyed happy hour from 4-6 pm).
The location is about a 45-minute walk from the city center, or a £20 taxi ride.
Service
9/10
The staff answered all questions and assisted with day trip plans. One staff member efficiently sorted a switch around of my trips after a pick-up issue. This helped ensure that my sightseeing plans were not disrupted.
Facilities
8/10
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast had a good amount of choice (especially for starting a road trip!). The restaurant also offers delicious food.
