unwelcoming staff cot request
The hotel's location was acceptable because it was a short walk to the city center.
My experience began poorly because the front desk staff were not cute at all. I also noticed there was no cot in the room when I arrived. I had requested one when I booked my stay, so it was very disappointing to deal with this mix-up immediately after arrival.

reasonable accommodation

lovely room delicious food great location noisy courtyard missing brush poor quality
the room was lovely. food in the bar was delicious. the location is very close to the bord gais theatre. it was only a few minutes walk.
the hotel has a courtyard many of the hotel rooms face. staff uses a special door to exit into this courtyard. this door slams very loudly late at night and early in the morning. secondly there was no toilet brush in our room.

Fantastic City Stay!

comfortable bed quality items charming service
The bed and pillows provided a comfortable night's sleep! Nice products were in the spacious shower. Breakfast was excellent, presenting a great selection of quality and well-cooked items. especially Colin.
The parking requires calling reception for gate access, even after informing them of my departure. This created a small delay upon leaving.
Facilities
9/10
The rooms had doubled windows for soundproofing, a tea station fully stocked, and immense storage with plenty of hangers. The bathroom was compact, but the shower included a great rain head, a really nice addition.
Dining
8/10
The breakfast offered a diverse range. It had well-cooked items and excellent service. The Grain & Grill restaurant provided a nice atmosphere, and a 3-course dinner was available. I found the food options of good quality.
Location
10/10
The location allows easy access to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, a short walk away. It is approximately 15 minutes walking distance from the city centre! The location provides convenient access to local attractions.

a stay that was just meh

terrible noise musty smell
the location had its good points, i'll give it that.
the room i got was not the greatest. first, the noise from outside was terrible. second, the bathroom lacked proper ventilation, resulting in a damp, musty smell. and housekeeping did a so-so job with the dirt.

average stay, some issues present

narrow bed bathroom ventilation
the room i got was supposed to be for four people, but it felt pretty cramped. those beds they had? way too narrow for two adults to sleep comfortably. and the bathroom ventilation? they couldn't fix it, so it was always stuffy. not exactly the relaxing getaway i had in mind, you know?
