Highlights

Location: Two acres of landscaped gardens in Ballsbridge

Rooms: 215 luxurious guest rooms and suites

Dining: Seasons Restaurant and The Whiskey Bar

Wellness: Award-winning spa with ESPA treatments

Event Spaces: Ailesbury Room for up to 230 guests

“This Ballsbridge hotel impressed me with its dedication to upscale comfort and service. I particularly appreciate the award-winning ESPA spa and the personalized culinary experiences, though I note some inconsistency in the lobby lounge. Its location near the RDS Stadium and walkable proximity to dining options like the Girl and the Goose add to its appeal.”

poorly trained staff five-star feeling
the breakfast at seasons restaurant was quite good! the buffet had a lot of options.
i found the staff poorly trained. in some instances, they were rude. it gave me no five-star feeling. they have a lot of work to do to get it back to standard.

Breakfast offered ample choice. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit selection. The staff were attentive. They addressed all requests promptly. My classic king room was well-kept. It offered comfortable accommodation. The bar provided a refined atmosphere. I found the cocktails impeccably presented.

early closure subpar cleaning
the pool being closed early was a real letdown, especially cause i picked this hotel mainly for it. imagine planning a morning swim and then being told its closed for cleaning at nine in the morning, when it only opens at seven! the room service also messed up my order, forgetting items. by the time the missing stuff arrived, my other food was already cold and not enjoyable. cleaning was also subpar since i found old clothes from someone else on the floor.

decent hotel stay

lovely hotel christmas decoration efficient bag small sofa bed limited menu unavailable snacks
the hotel was lovely. it was beautifully decorated for christmas. i was happy that my bags were brought up to my room after it was ready. i didn't need to leave the wedding i was at near by to check in later. i was able to check in before the wedding and then just go to my room later that evening.
the sofa bed was small. it was supposed to fit a 16 and 11 year old as two guests and it was uncomfortable. the food menu didn't have much food and what i ordered wasn't very nice. they also didn't have any diluted juice or snacks.
