the hotel's location near the york barbican suited me perfectly.. it was only a short walk. the onsite pasta restaurant offered good food via qr code ordering. the food quality was excellent, i thought.

i noticed the absence of detailed transaction information on the initial bill presentation. a service charge was included without prior notification which felt a bit underhanded.

the front desk staff member harper was particularly helpful i appreciated their effort finding a restaurant open nearby on christmas day the location near attractions suited my needs well i found the room to be quiet despite its position at the front of the building the air conditioning in the room was effective.

the staff were friendly. the room was spacious and comfortable. the hotel is near the centre of town with great access to restaurants and coffee shops (a real bonus!). i found parking easy enough in the peel street car park. it's next to the hotel car park.

the drink selection at the bar was limited. i had to order several drinks before finding one they actually had.
