the hotel's proximity to the metro was very useful. it allowed for easy access to different parts of the area! nearby restaurants offered diverse dining options. the availability of a tram stop right outside was also convenient.

The room size proved a bit limited. Storage was minimal. this made it challenging to keep things organized. the bathroom's light switch was awkwardly placed outside. i noticed some minor cosmetic damages needing attention.

Excellent Stay with Attentive Service

attentive staff smooth service comfortable room

The staff were very attentive and polite. They were always willing to help. Service was smooth from check-in to check-out. I booked a Standard Queen Room City View and found it comfortable and clean. Fast checkout was available. I just dropped keys in one box.

There always seemed to be a long wait for elevators, even though there are five available. Some elevators do not go all the way to the exit, requiring a transfer on the 5th floor. This created an even longer delay and was inconvenient.

the hotel has a starbucks in the foyer. i appreciated the hotel breakfast, it had a good variety of eastern and western options. my room, a standard queen room city view, had views along des voeux rd and across the harbour.

the receptionists are not very helpful with local information.

the location provided easy access to transport links. the room had a kettle and complimentary water which was useful. friendly and helpful staff provided a late check-out at no extra cost.

The breakfast was geared more toward asian guests. It lacked common western breakfast options.

The location was definitely a plus, close to many transport links. i found tram stops within 100 meters. These connect well to main areas. breakfast included multiple choices, it gave a great start to each day.

the gym required reservations, limiting spontaneous access. it proved difficult to secure a slot during my entire stay, a slight drawback for fitness routines.
