there was no bottled water in the room on a warm day so i had to go to a shop to buy one. i was asked for photo id on check in. this was in the small print apparently

Staff were helpful and the location allowed easy access to attractions. The hotel provided complimentary toiletries I had forgotten. Breakfast provided many selections including hot and cold options.

The lift made a slight noise at certain times.

the location was great near the city centre.

i booked a room with a large bed but i got two singles. i tried connecting my phone to the tv, but it didn't work. the breakfast was really poor, i went down at 10:10 and saw the staff start cleaning the coffee machines even though breakfast was supposed to be available until 11:00.

the staff was very friendly, that was ok.

the room, a standard twin room hot, was a bit of a letdown, it was cold without heating. i asked for a taxi at reception, but they told me i should walk to the taxi stop. it was raining, and the taxi stop was pretty far, about 500 meters.
