Was so nice

peaceful retreat frozen daiquiris

The Merkanti beach club was a definite highlight. It provided a peaceful retreat. Lois, our waitress, created fantastic frozen strawberry daiquiris. Ron, who walked by every day, became a friend. It was easy to access the sea for snorkeling.

I found that the hotel had a tremendous gym. the 5K running route outside had a few areas that needed better maintenance.

The room was huge and it suited two people well. It also had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. The fridge was empty so I could fill it with beers. The cleaning staff were a real credit to the hotel. Each day they arranged our towels into the shape of animals.

The reception ladies managed to check us into our room well before the designated time. This was a welcome surprise. All staff I encountered were helpful and seemed committed to providing excellent service. The staff in smart hats at the Quarterdeck bar were great.

The Blue Elephant restaurant served excellent Thai food. It is a must-visit for fans. The Quarterdeck bar is the hotel's signature cocktail bar and overlooks the Marina. I sipped delicious cocktails there. Plenty of restaurants are located within walking distance of the hotel.

The hotel offered four glorious pools. I spent every day at the fine Merkanti beach club. This area is adults only and located exactly six minutes from the room. The hotel has a tremendous gym with squash courts.

I enjoy the breakfast selection. There was so many food options for me. The pool area had clean sun beds and different areas to choose from. I like that I can order foods and drinks at the pool side.

The room was very hot. The hotel said the air conditioning system are regulated for hot. The hotel offered me a fan. That was a big surprise.

elevator proximity floor sanding

the staff were attentive. they addressed requests promptly.

my room was located close to the elevators. this meant early morning noise. also, floor sanding occurred in the communal area near reception. the climate control did not work well.

Wonderful stay!

good care comfortable bed

I appreciate the Executive Lounge. Anastasia, Sonu, Massimiliano, Carlos, and Krasimira took such good care. Bartenders Armand and his team from Quaterdeck Bar provided super service. My room was clean and spacious, with a nice sea view, a comfortable bed, and pillows.

I notice noise problems. Scraping noises from above disturb sleep. It will be good if this is improved. But overall, my stay was good!

The hotel has several pools, but some are limited to certain age groups, so I did not use them with my family. The gym offers free weights, cardio equipment, and is open to the public. Expect busy times.
