mixed feelings about my stay

dusty blinds grim room

the breakfast was substantial and well cooked. i found the food to be cooked to order.

the room i was in was unfortunately not pleasant. it felt quite grim and only some areas seemed clean. i noticed dust on the blinds, sofa, heater, and chairs.

helpful staff gorgeous grounds hot room stained kettle

the staff were pleasant and helpful. the complimentary breakfast was divine (i especially liked the pastries!). the grounds were gorgeous. the restaurant was good, and the food offered good value for money.

the room was extraordinarily hot, and i had to ask housekeeping for a fan. a fan should already be in each room. i found the plastic kettle old and stained. i also noticed the ironing board was dirty and ripped.

i found the staff very friendly and helpful. the quality wine list impressed me.. there were also spacious, well-equipped, and clean rooms. i considered the varied menu and high-quality food served.

the door closers slammed the doors, not good late at night.

the setting seemed lovely and the room comfortable. the hotel is also a wedding venue on some days. it did not interfere with my stay as the guests were in a different area from the main bar. the grounds looked beautiful.

breakfast selection efficient service cold shower bedding stains

the hotel staff were friendly. the breakfast selection was nice. i got a good cooked breakfast, a tasty option. the service was efficient from arrival till when i left.

the shower dont have hot water in the morning. there were also some stains on the bedding. it. the carpets also had stains.

amazing service beautiful grounds

The food was excellent, i loved the amazing service in the restaurant. the bar was great too. The beautiful grounds enhanced the whole experience.

the room got quite light because of the smoking area lights outside! they stayed on all night.
