Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Gwydyr Hotel is often praised for its central location in Betws-y-Coed, making it easy to walk to the train station, restaurants, and even nearby hiking trails. The recently refurbished and modernly decorated rooms are considered clean and comfortable, with some offering lovely park views from bay windows; family rooms are also spacious and well-equipped with tea and coffee facilities. While the parking can sometimes feel a bit tight, guests generally appreciate the convenience of having it onsite; however, a few guests found the restaurant to be of poor quality.

The restaurant food was expensive and not good. i ordered a burger. It was tasteless. there was a 10% service charge added to the bill and i did not like that. the carpet on the stairs needed a good hoover, it was messy when i arrived and worse when i left.
