There are two beaches in Barmouth. A small beach is just a 5-minute walk under Barmouth Bridge, while the main beach can be reached in about 10-15 minutes by walking down to the town, turning left at The Quay. Public transportation includes a bus that takes you into the center of town and a ferry that crosses the estuary to Fairbourne beach.
