The Esplanade enjoys a brilliant location, with many guests appreciating being near the centre of Tenby and having lovely views, often overlooking the beach from spacious family rooms. Breakfast is frequently highlighted for its excellence, offering a wide choice from fresh fruits and cereals to cooked options like a full English or salmon with scrambled eggs. limited breakfastsound insulation
I found several issues that detracted from the experience. the lack of soundproofing was quite noticeable. i could hear conversations and noise from adjacent rooms and the hallway quite clearly. this made it difficult to relax and sleep soundly. the breakfast buffet seemed a bit limited. i expected a wider variety of options, particularly regarding fresh fruit and pastries.

the breakfast offered both continental and cooked options (i especially enjoyed the variety!). the staff were quick and friendly. the location was perfect for strolling into town and accessing the harbour. our room had all the necessary facilities.
i found street parking a bit tricky. free parking was available, however securing a spot took some time (it might be helpful to add more parking spaces or improve information on alternate parking options).

the breakfast menu had several choices, including a vegetarian option. the portions were generous, and the food was well-prepared (the croissants were very buttery!). the dining area was clean and well-kept.

seaside serenity

prime locationsea viewfresh fruit
I loved the prime location near the sea. The views from the room were fine. breakfast offered fresh fruit alongside a cooked option each morning, a good start to the day. the owner, graham, showed genuine care, assisting with directions and offering local recommendations (i felt welcomed).
Carrying luggage up several flights of stairs was tiring.

Location

the hotel offered the best positioning with sea views, ensuring immediate access to the seafront amenities (the sounds of the waves were soothing).
Facilities

the hotel provides a communal sitting area, however it was locked throughout the day and evening, perhaps restricting access to a shared space (this could be improved).
