peeling paintworn furniture
the room i got looked pretty beat up, paint was peeling off in spots and some of the tiles had cracks. the furniture looked like it had seen better days, pretty worn out. staff, they were friendly enough, but didn't exactly make up for the room's sad state.

The shower showed some minor signs of wear, but it did not affect my stay.

the bed in my room was very comfortable. the staff were friendly and helpful . i also appreciated the ample parking space available.
the shower pressure was quite weak in my room. the television signal kept fading intermittently, it was annoying. i also found the corridor noisy late at night.

The king bed in my room was very very comfy and tidy. My room was a good size with a large, functional bathroom. The staff were helpful at reception and in the pub (they were always ready to assist).
The toilet rocked slightly from side to side when I sat on it, as it was not properly secured to the floor.

The pub food was good (especially the traditional options!). The breakfast matched expectations, and the price was reasonable. There was a bit of a wait, however the staff were quick to attend to requests.

The room was spacious with ample hot water available at all times. The couch could be converted to a double bed, providing extra sleeping space. My Double Room was functional and quiet throughout my stay.

the staff was FRIENDLY. it was great having the pub next door. i noticed the 850 bus stops outside and goes to Henley-on-Thames regularly.
my room lacked air conditioning. it wasnt good during the hottest day of year. the window could not fully open because it was blocked.
