A balanced experience

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The location is nice with the Arno riverside just a short walk away. The breakfast was good (i especially liked the pastries).
The wi-fi was terrible. It lagged even when just searching for information. I used my card key to open the room door but it did not work efficiently. Repeated attempts were often necessary before i could get in.

the hotel location made getting around easy. tomasso escorted us to our upgraded junior suite (such a thoughtful touch!). the food and service at the hotel restaurant were both excellent. matteo at the front desk secured an immediate appointment with a nearby dentist for my husband.
the central ac and heat system has controls in the room. the hotel switches to heat for winter and ac in summer. it got very warm in my room in october, and there was nothing we could do about it.

the breakfast included a juice bar, fruit, yogurt, bread, ham, and cheese. the hotel restaurant was surprisingly good, with excellent dinner options. i appreciated the fresh juice options at breakfast.

the staff helped us find a restaurant and a taxi quickly after a late arrival. leonardo and silva at the front desk helped us find restaurants and toys. the front desk staff arranged a shuttle during a taxi strike.

the rooms were nicely furnished, clean, and neat. our upgraded junior suite was well-equipped and spacious. the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a nice shower with good pressure (i loved it).
