The staff were friendly. They offered food and a hot drink upon my late arrival. the hotel provided fresh air, quiet surroundings, and access to country walks. the location is a short drive from the m62 and is convenient, i think.
the shower cubicle was quite small, with no shelf to place toiletries, this made it a little difficult to manage soap and shampoo.

i stayed with family for a wedding. the hotel is super clean and the staff were lovely throughout our stay! the food was AMAZING!!! we all thought the drinks were really reasonably priced.
there was no extractor fan in the bathroom.

there was no soundproofing between walls and floor. the water pressure was too high so it was very noisy when taps were on. i constantly heard squeezing floorboards from above.
