the location was amazing!!! i loved the outside area that overlooked the river. all staff members were friendly and really helpful. the bar area felt very nice and comfortable.

excellent Hadrian's Wall stay
easy accessattentive staffexcellent foodstair usage
the location provided easy access to explore northumberland, an amazing experience. the staff demonstrated attentiveness and knowledge. the meals were of excellent quality, also great value for money. the room was nice and neat. the bed was very comfy too!
navigating the hotel with luggage was difficult due to a lack of a lift. frequent stair usage was necessary. a hotel porter would improve this inconvenience, greatly.

the receptionist provided really good service, particularly when assisting with public transport details. they were pretty good too ensure i had all the necessary information, demonstrating dedication to guest satisfaction. this proactive approach was AMAZING!!!

The hotel is in a great location for exploring. i found it easy to walk to nearby attractions. the riverside beer garden was lovely, i enjoyed its peaceful setting. the staff were really helpful and friendly. i was also happy that the breakfast buffet had an excellent choice.
The room decor felt a little outdated. It could use some freshening.

sweet viewroomy spaceblack mouldpaper-thin walls
the location, its really by the river and our double superior room had the sweetest view on the garden, a little bridge, and the river itself. it was quite a roomy space, i must say, and it had everything we needed for the nights, even an ironing board and some biscuits, i loved it so much.
i must say, our superior room smelled like it has been touched by humidity and i find some black mould where the walls meet the ceiling, , made me uncomfortable. the walls, i must say, are really paper-thin, and i hear other guests slamming doors all the time, it made it difficult to enjoy it at all.
