i found the grounds great with the main hall a delight to explore its quirky side. the owners' ambitions shine through ongoing projects. the pole barn room had a fabulous shower and was very comfortable. i took enjoyable evening walks around the expansive hotel.
i found no phone in the room to contact reception after 10pm.

I found the staff helpful. They quickly addressed every request. the grounds feature beautiful landscaping, including well kept walking paths. our bedroom had a great bed. I slept soundly each night and woke refreshed. (i especially enjoyed the rainfall shower!)
the soundproofing was minimal, i could hear conversations from neighboring rooms and hallways , made it difficult to relax.
