basic stay with some issues

peeling paint unsecured door
the location was central, i could walk to nearby restaurants.
the hotel interior was really dated. the paint was peeling and dirty in places. there was no way to properly secure the room door from the inside, i found that unsettling. the towels felt old and frayed too.

convenient stay Near Stansted

great location quick staff clean sheets smooth arrangement
I stayed for a night before an early flight. The location is great near shops and restaurants. The staff was quick to respond for a late check-in, providing clear instructions over the phone. i found the sheets and towels very clean. This was certainly welcome. Parking was available nearby so my travel arrangements went smoothly.
the bathroom lacked heating , made it a little chilly.

mixed feelings about this place

low water pressure street noise
the room smelled strongly of stale smoke. the shower had very low water pressure, it made showering difficult. some of the furniture looked quite worn, this detracted from the overall appearance. i also found the noise from the street disruptive. i struggled to sleep well because of the thin walls and constant traffic sound

the room was undeniably clean and spacious. complimentary toiletries and hot water with strong pressure in the bathroom certainly added to the convenience. the tea station came well-stocked, a great comfort for a weary traveler. the staff offered quick, helpful late check-in service, ensuring a stress-free arrival after a long day.
the decor could use some updating, but this didn't detract significantly from my stay.

i was very impressed with the hotel before my flight. the spacious room included a kettle and tv. the bathroom was sizeable, clean, and had complimentary toiletries.

the room was spacious and comfortable. i found all the necessary facilities were available, for example a kettle and a tv. the location was also convenient for the town centre. it was a short walk to many bars and restaurants.
the building is in a shocking state. the windows are dirty. also i found the carpets and walls to be dusty and marked. it could be a beautiful place though it needs a complete refurbishment

super clean room helpful person honest hospitality
the room and bathroom were super clean. it was a real-life clean (i could actually relax!). the person at check-in was warm and helpful. she explained where to catch the bus. i appreciate that the hotel is honest about what it offers.

There's a pay and display parking lot just 30 meters from the hotel. To reach it, simply turn right at the traffic lights and follow the road up the hill. The lot is located behind the police station. After 4 PM, parking costs £1 until 6:30 PM, and it's free on Sundays. The postal code for the parking is CM23 2TW.
