the room and bathroom were super clean. it was a real-life clean (i could actually relax!). the person at check-in was warm and helpful. she explained where to catch the bus. i appreciate that the hotel is honest about what it offers.

a good selection of eateries and pubs are within close walking distance. this makes it very easy to find something nice to eat, whatever your preference is (i really liked the italian restaurant!).

the manager was efficient and accommodating. the lady who checked me out was friendly and helpful. always nice to see staff who seem to really care, it makes such a difference to the stay.

There's a pay and display parking lot just 30 meters from the hotel. To reach it, simply turn right at the traffic lights and follow the road up the hill. The lot is located behind the police station. After 4 PM, parking costs £1 until 6:30 PM, and it's free on Sundays. The postal code for the parking is CM23 2TW.
