the lobby was nice.

The room was smaller than i expected, and it felt cramped with luggage. The bathroom door opened outwards, even more difficult to move around in the limited space. Also the bed was too soft for my liking, so i didn't sleep well.

The location is convenient. It allows easy access to attractions and shopping. The twin room was spacious enough, great to open our luggage. That was acceptable.

The furniture layout felt inefficient, with unused dead space, though. We had to rearrange things to suit our needs. The beds were separated by a tight gap, about 30 cm from the wall. This could have created more walkable space. I also found the breakfast coffee sub-standard, but the machine in the lounge made much better coffee!

The location is unbeatable. I walked to many main attractions with ease. The complimentary sake each day was a NICE touch. My room was spacious enough. My two large suitcases fit without problems.

The reception staff were a little cool. They didn't offer the warm greetings I experienced elsewhere in Japan.

The location is central. It is near Nishiki Market and Gion. The staff are great. Amenities are convenient. The hotel provides a 24/7 coffee machine.

The area is busy. Getting in and out of the hotel was difficult. I usually rushed into the underground tunnel to escape the chaos. Disturbances at night were expected up to 2 a.m.
