basic room extra charge

the staff seemed pretty helpful and sorted my luggage, i guess. a nice view of the riverside city lights was probably the only thing i liked.

My standard double room felt more like a hostel room. It was pretty basic. no fridge or tv, just a bed, a small table, and a sink. plus, i had to pay extra for things like a toothbrush. Seriously?

friendly staff short walk unusual layout few hooks

The staff was super friendly. They welcomed me warmly. The location is great, just a short walk to both a subway station and the beautiful park along the river. (It seemed like a dream!).

The rooms did have a somewhat unusual layout. I also noticed there were not many hooks, which would have helped a lot in the small space, in my opinion. (I was wondering where to put my coat).

the staff were friendly and spoke english!

My room was on a lower floor, and the street noise at night was quite loud. It disrupted my sleep, and i could hear everything going on outside. the lack of soundproofing was a real issue.
