Master rooms feature contemporary style with original features, views of the Lake District, separate sitting areas, and bathrooms with double-ended baths and showers. Cozy rooms are smaller but detailed. An accessible room, Medlar, includes level ground floor access, wide access doors, a roll-in wet room with non-slip flooring, an adjustable shower, a height-adjustable shower seat, adjustable grab rails, a low-rise toilet with adjustable grab rails, and assistance alarm pull cords. Six rooms welcome dogs and provide a welcome pack with a letter, dog bed, two bowls, and treats.

The Forest Side features an award-winning restaurant. Head Chef Paul Leonard creates menus using ingredients from the Cumbrian landscape and the kitchen garden. The restaurant sources produce from local farms. Guests can enjoy a 4 or 8-course menu. Private dining is available for celebrations and business functions for up to 10 people. The sommelier offers organic and bio-dynamic wines. The bar offers cocktails, including the 'Cumbrian Express' and the non-alcoholic 'The Grass-mere'. Breakfast includes homemade granola, foraged wild mushrooms, Bannerigg Farm duck eggs, Slack's Farm bacon, and Cartmel Valley smoked salmon.
