the room met my expectations, similar to other ibis hotels i have stayed in. i had a long, difficult journey, so the room was exactly what i needed. my stay was near spire methley hospital, where i had an early morning appointment.
the bathroom could have been cleaner upon my arrival. the corridor doors needed soft closing mechanisms because i could hear people throughout the night. my room was right by the door, worse.

i did not eat at the hotel this time, but coffee was available for purchase at reception. a coffee machine provided a selection of hot beverages. the area had multiple dining options within a short driving distance.

my standard double room included a comfortable bed and basic furnishings. the room had sufficient space for luggage and movement. climate control allowed me to set a comfortable temperature throughout my stay.

the staff was pleasant and helpful . i enjoyed a coffee upon my return to the hotel after visiting my son. the check-in process was simple and efficient, i appreciated their assistance.

The room was decorated nicely and super clean. Check-in and check-out were both easy processes. I found a good amount of parking available. The room included a full-length mirror next to a plug socket, very convenient.
The corridors smelled slightly musty.

The staff was friendly and helpful during check-in and check-out. A staff member printed off a discount ticket for a local attraction, Diggerland. This was a really nice gesture and VERY appreciated!!! They was really nice.

the room was very comfy and tidy, with air conditioning (it worked well).
I was told i had to pay for parking upon arrival. This was unexpected. the staff member seemed quite forceful about it. i was also informed that there would be no evening meal service because a coach party had arrived, and breakfast would be delayed, inconvenient.

the room felt super modern and stylish with lovely decor and it was also clean. a smart tv was there, something most hotels don't offer! its location next to a pub is fantastic, and the bar prices at the hotel were more than decent.

The room was very spacious. A big bathroom and TV were included. Parking was available and close to local attractions, I found. The room was clean and tidy. I appreciated that. A lady on reception was very cute.
Breakfast had limited options. It was not as described on the QR menu, I think.
