“Fairfield House stands out for its blend of Victorian history and modern comforts near Ayr's seafront. Its award-winning restaurant signals a commitment to quality, but it's the leisure facilities, uncommon at this price point, that families truly appreciate. Fairfield House Hotel is often praised for its excellent location, a short walk from both the beach and Ayr's town center. Many guests appreciate the generously sized rooms, some even featuring large bathrooms and jacuzzi bathtubs with TVs. The breakfast comes highly recommended, and while some guests have noted that certain rooms show signs of wear and tear, the views overlooking the sea are a definite plus for many.

Great Staff and Location

The staff was very helpful and attentive. The hotel location is near the beach.
The room lacked a mini fridge. I also noticed the absence of a coffee machine in the room.

The location is GREAT. It is close to the seafront and the town is walkable!!! The breakfast was VERY tasty. The food menu was also excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner there.
The leisure facilities were dilapidated and badly NEEDING upgrading. The room was old fashioned with furniture about to fall over and the Chester drawers had unstable legs. The bed was very low to the floor and the room was not clean. It smelled funny.

The staff are both friendly and helpful. The food is good and the location is first class. I loved that car parking was easy. The accommodation met my needs and I slept soundly.
My room lacked a mini fridge. This amenity would greatly improve the experience, especially during warmer weather. I hope the management considers adding this to future room upgrades.
