Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests frequently appreciate the hotel's beautifully maintained gardens and its convenient location, being a short walk from the train station and close to the Torquay foreshore. The bedrooms are generally considered a good size, with tea making facilities and comfortable beds, and many offer lovely views, particularly the superior rooms overlooking the gardens and foreshore. Some guests have noted that certain rooms, such as room 22, can have minor issues like a squeaky bathroom door or a missing door latch, but overall the hotel provides fast Wi-Fi, a lounge with a bar, and access to a good-sized swimming pool.

the location was acceptable.
The ensuite shower room was tiny, i doubt a larger person could sit on the toilet without hitting their knees on the wall. the shower had a really weak water flow. i never saw the owner after check-in. I needed to find someone when checking out, who just took the keys.
