The Beautiful room featured a huge roll top bath and a rainfall shower! The bed was very comfy. It was quiet. The room location off the courtyard helped provide a peaceful night's sleep! I also had an early check-in. That was great.
The hotel lacks a lift. I found this a little inconvenient when carrying luggage, though the staff were very helpful offering assistance.

Nice Stay in a Lovely Setting

cheerful check-infriendly staffcentral locationineffective air conditioning
The check-in was very cheerful, and the staff were genuinely friendly throughout my stay. The room had a fun design and was impeccably clean and really comfy (I especially loved the L'Occitane toiletries!). The hotel's central location made it easy to wander around and explore the riverside.
The air conditioning in my room was not very effective (I didn't find a fridge either), and this was a slight discomfort considering the price.
Facilities

The room featured a walk-in shower and a huge comfy bed. The bar offers many drink options, and the staff are quite friendly. There is a refurbishment in the reception area that occupies a section of the bar.
Location

The hotel's setting provides easy access to both the town center and the river. It provides a perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas and enjoying river views (which are lovely!). This location is ideal for a relaxing getaway.

The breakfast service was both quick and efficient, and food was excellent. I found the vegan tasting menu to be delicious. The sommelier was also knowledgeable and helpful (they enhanced the experience!).

The staff showed genuine interest in my plans. Lizzie was so friendly and helpful. She is a real asset to the hotel. The reception staff were lovely and immediately helped me with a lost item.

A Reasonable Stay

great comfortseparate showerlarge tvawkward accessminimal outletsdark hallway
I stayed in a cognac room. The room offered great comfort, including a large bathroom. This bathroom featured both a bath and a separate shower. I found the large TV and good WiFi beneficial.
Access to my room was somewhat awkward. There was no lift available. I had to carry luggage up several flights of stairs through public areas. Hallways were poorly lit. I found minimal electrical outlets in the room.
