The Cosener's House enjoys a beautiful and peaceful location right on the Thames, just a short walk from Abingdon town centre and Abbey Meadows. Guests appreciate the clean and comfortable rooms, some noting the well-equipped features and large wetroom en suite. The breakfast is often mentioned as delicious and very good, especially when enjoyed with a garden view from the conservatory area, though some have found the rooms themselves a bit dated. I savored afternoon tea with my mother on the terrace. the cool shade was a welcome escape from the 29-degree heat. sandwiches and dainty cakes accompanied a delicate china tea service. Each bite was divine. tia nicole and her colleagues provided perfect service, especially to my mother in her wheelchair.
the accessible bathroom, though spacious, featured a tiny sink. its lack of a plug complicated simple tasks like washing hands. a larger sink would greatly improve accessibility for those who prefer not to shower.
