The food was lovely. I liked that the staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel has a wonderful location in the center of town and free parking is available. The host was attentive and met our needs.
My room needed decorating. There was chipped paint everywhere. The shower tray leaked and the toilet seat was broken. I saw that the sink took ages to drain.

warm greeting clean room helpful staff
ben greeted us warmly! the room was clean, comfortable and excellent. staff were super friendly and very helpful. parking was great and made accessing the cotswolds easy.

the breakfast was fresh and hot! it was tasty, with a broad offer, including both hot and cold options. the pub served dinners that were very good and satisfying after a long day.

housekeeping and management allowed an early check-in for our wedding. staff were spot on, ensuring all needs were addressed promptly and efficiently. staff was polite throughout the whole stay.

friendly staff complimentary beer tasty breakfast
The staff were friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the complimentary Hook Norton beer and bottled water in the room. The breakfast was tasty and filling , setting me up perfectly for the day.
The room could have used a bit more attention regarding the chipped paint.

The staff offered a very warm welcome. They were helpful with directions and provided prompt service at the bar and restaurant . Arnold was particularly friendly.

cosy room tea bags breakfast selection bed comfort missing ac room cleaning
the room was very cosy. i loved the tea pigs tea bags, a nice touch. the staff were very well trained and hospitable. good breakfast selection was available.
the bed comfort wasn't great. there was no ac. i noticed noise at 4am since the window was open, because there was no ac. room cleaning could have been better, twice.

chipped paint broken toilet seat
The room definitely needed some attention. I noticed chipped paint in several places, and the shower tray had a leak. The toilet seat was also broken, which wasn't great. Plus, the sink drained REALLY slowly (it was annoying).
