“Devonshire Arms, a Grade II-listed former hunting lodge in Langport, strikes me as a proper base for exploring the Somerset Levels. I picture myself returning after a day of walking and cycling to enjoy the locally sourced food and extensive selection of ales in the garden. However, some rooms may present noise and lighting issues; for a quieter stay, I'd advise inquiring about rooms away from the bar and service areas.”
