parking charge no hotel support
the location was pretty central (i didn't have to walk for ages to get anywhere).
i was charged for parking even though i entered my car registration on the tablet. i appealed, explaining i stayed there, but they said i must have done it wrong. it is quite annoying because the hotel didn't offer any help or reimbursement (despite the fact we spent a fair amount there).

I found the staff very attentive. The restaurant meal I had was really good, including breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay. Big parking was available. I used the tea and coffee making facilities in my room.

the room had a large comfortable bed! wardrobe space included enough hangers. i also found an iron and ironing board, it was useful
The chips were advertised as gluten-free. The chef uses the same fryer for non-gluten-free dishes.

sash window loud fans
the hotel's location was acceptable, right in the middle of the town.
the sash window was propped up with a piece of wood, i was disappointed. it felt unsafe. the fans in the room were very loud too, it sounded like an aeroplane taking off. none of us got any sleep.

scuffed paint worn furniture
the breakfast included a good selection of items. the staff was friendly. they seemed eager to assist.
the room decor seemed quite tired. i saw badly scuffed paint on the internal door. the furniture looked worn. there was also rust in the bath which i found rather off-putting

the location was super. it was in the middle of everything, so i could walk everywhere. the food and drink were excellent also. the service was good, very efficient.
the twin room i requested was not available, so i got a double. the room decor was tired, i see scuffed doors. there was rust in the bath, this bothered me. cobwebs and spiders was found in the window, that was bad.

the room was clean. it featured a king size bed and good tea and coffee. the breakfast had a good range of cooked and continental options. i found the salmon particularly tasty (i'm glad it was available).
there was a slight delay in the service.
