The Oaksmere offers 14 individually designed bedrooms and suites, including dog-friendly options. Deluxe rooms are located in the Tudor wing and include complimentary Wi-Fi and Smart TVs. Note that some rooms may have low beams and door frames due to the building's architecture. Junior Suites, situated in the Tudor wing, feature a bed, reading lights, and a bathroom with both a bath and a shower. Executive rooms, found in the Coach House and Tudor wing, provide complimentary Wi-Fi and Smart TVs; one room includes a wet room with full mobility access. Suites are located in the Victorian wing and offer complimentary Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, and rainfall showers. All rooms provide tea-making facilities, Nespresso machines, biscuits, mineral water, minibars, Sky television, air conditioning, and Bluetooth music systems. Two ground floor rooms are suitable for dogs.
Dining at Oaksmere
The Oaksmere restaurant serves freshly prepared meals using seasonal ingredients. The restaurant features bare bricks, white tiles, an open kitchen, banquettes fringed with greenery, bare filament lights, and fern-filled skylights. The menu changes seasonally, featuring six to eight starters and mains, along with wood-fired steaks, chicken, and pork. A hot dish menu includes a Suffolk breakfast and variations of eggs Benedict. A beamed and flagstoned bar offers cask ales, fine wines, and a menu of bar snacks and pub grub. There is also a cocktail bar and a lounge. The 15th-century Tudor Bar has an AA Rosette for its cuisine. Starters are priced from £6.95, and most main courses are under £20. Locally reared steaks are prepared and hung for 28 days in on-site butchery, cooked in a wood-fired grill.
