Dining at Oaksmere
The Oaksmere restaurant serves freshly prepared meals using seasonal ingredients. The restaurant features bare bricks, white tiles, an open kitchen, banquettes fringed with greenery, bare filament lights, and fern-filled skylights. The menu changes seasonally, featuring six to eight starters and mains, along with wood-fired steaks, chicken, and pork. A hot dish menu includes a Suffolk breakfast and variations of eggs Benedict. A beamed and flagstoned bar offers cask ales, fine wines, and a menu of bar snacks and pub grub. There is also a cocktail bar and a lounge. The 15th-century Tudor Bar has an AA Rosette for its cuisine. Starters are priced from £6.95, and most main courses are under £20. Locally reared steaks are prepared and hung for 28 days in on-site butchery, cooked in a wood-fired grill.
Events and Gatherings
The Oaksmere offers spaces for events. A bright room with natural light can seat up to 14 guests in a boardroom setting. Guests are welcome to decorate the space. The Gun Room is a space with dimmable lighting that can seat up to 28 guests. The Aviary is bright and airy with French Doors at both ends.

The Oaksmere is located just outside Eye, Diss, set in 17 acres of parkland on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. It is approximately 55 km from Norwich International Airport. Nearby landmarks include The 100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum (7 km), The Pennings (3 km), Eye Castle (3 km), Diss Museum (4 km), Diss Mere (4 km), The 95th Bomb Group Hospital Museum (5.5 km), Gillings of Diss (3 km), and The Grange Musical Collection (3 km). It is an hour and a half from London by car or train.
