tired room no maid service

the breakfast was very good with a good selection and nicely cooked.

the room was tired. our door banged every time a neighbour opened or left their room. also, there was no daily maid service, so we had to wash our own cups up.

Charming Stay at a Unique Spot

attentive host breakfast selection adjacent bedrooms

The host, Paul, was attentive. He asked about breakfast preferences each evening. The breakfast selection included a great variety of items (the fruit was especially fresh). Our group appreciated that we secured the adjacent bedrooms, a really thoughtful touch.

The entrance to the rooms was permanently unlocked, which raised a security concern. A combination lock would increase safety, as there is no constant presence at the reception. It gave me pause in case of emergencies.

The building includes a breakfast room within a former windmill, which adds to the unique atmosphere. There is also an indian restaurant located conveniently next door to the building, very helpful if you are looking for a meal.

The owner provided clear instructions for accessing the hotel in advance. Staff was friendly and accommodating during breakfast.

The location offers fine views and a peace all around. Off-road parking is available. The b&b benefits from really good value considering the location.

good breakfast quiet spot rural spot tired building dead flowers grubby carpet

the breakfast was very good and served exactly to order. the location is in a quiet rural spot. it was easy to find during the day, but could be more difficult at night.

the outside of the buildings looks tired. dead flowers in window boxes and planters do not enhance the appearance. the staircase carpet is quite grubby, along with paintwork.
