Riverside Hotel in Reading

Crowne Plaza Reading is a stylish riverside hotel with a health club, swimming pool, spa, meeting rooms, a restaurant, and free Wi-Fi. It is situated just before the Caversham Bridge on the left. The hotel is located in a peaceful setting beside the Thames. Trains from Reading Station provide 25-minute links to central London, and the M4 motorway provides access to Heathrow Airport in approximately half an hour.

Stylish Guest Rooms

The hotel has 122 bedrooms. Rooms feature a seriously comfy bed and a generously proportioned bathroom. Stylish air-conditioned rooms include an LCD satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities, and a mini-bar and fridge. Some rooms have river views, and suites have balconies overlooking the water. All guestrooms include 24-hour room service and air conditioning. Accessible rooms feature grab rails, an accessible lowered bath, and alarm cords.

Riverside Restaurant offers food made using local ingredients, served in the sleek restaurant or on the riverside terrace. Acqua Restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes and serves modern British cuisine sourced from local suppliers. You can sip a drink and watch the boats go by on the terrace or in the bar.

Leisure and Wellness

Revive health club features a heated 17-meter swimming pool, a whirlpool, and seats for relaxation. This Crowne Plaza's health club has a 17-metre infinity pool, sauna, steam room, spa bath and a modern gym. The fitness center is open from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday. It features treadmills, upright bikes, recline bikes, cross trainers, CardioWave, rowing machines, free weights, and a matting area for fitness ball and core stability work.

Meetings and Events

Formal business meetings are held in Crowne Plaza Reading's Executive Boardroom. The hotel features an ideally sized meeting room located in the Business Centre Caversham 3 with own access via French door to an outside terrace area, overlooking a river Thames. The largest function room offers natural daylight coming in from floor-to-ceiling windows, is the River Suite and can accommodate up to 180 guests.
