a journey back in time, fondly remembered

ideal locationquick assistancespacious roomantique charm
the location offers easy access to shopping and nightlife, which i found convenient. cieron at reception provided quick assistance. he swiftly checked me in and fulfilled my room requests. the room was spacious enough for my needs during my short stay. i spent several days exploring nearby attractions.
i noticed the hallways leading to the rooms seemed quite quiet. the decor felt a bit outdated. it added a unique, antique charm, yet i believe some aspects could benefit from a refresh, though. otherwise, it was perfect.

Satisfactory Experience

central locationfantastic architecturehelpful receptiongreat value
The location proves excellent. It is very central. The building boasts fantastic architecture. I found the reception staff helpful. The hotel offered great value for money. I appreciate the grand public rooms. The building holds lots of history. Staff members act friendly, and I would stay again.
I found the glass doors at the entrance filthy. It did not create a great first impression.
Rooms
8/10
The room provided basic amenities. I saw the bathroom was small. There were signs of damp present on the ceiling, indicating issues. The hot water took some minutes to come through.
Location
9/10
The location is very central. The train station is within a short walk. The theater is also nearby. This allows convenient access to transport and entertainment options.
Facilities
8/10
Luggage storage was free. This service allows guests with late flights to store bags. Guests are able to enjoy the final day without luggage concerns. This adds convenience to the stay.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast offered a very good selection. This includes items like baked beans and sausages. Those who enjoy traditional breakfast options may find it sufficient. I did not try other dining options.
