i really enjoyed the breakfast, it was well presented and tasty. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. There was also plenty of free parking available, very convenient.
the ceiling in the corridor had a big hole and it smelt of wet plasterboard. My room had a fan running ALL night and random tapping sounds. The shower was little more than a trickle.

a GEM of a stay!

the staff were so friendly and helpful. the room was clean, and everything i needed was there. the hotel HAS a large car park, so parking was NEVER a problem, a HUGE plus!
I wish the hotel would invest in some updates. The carpets showed significant wear, particularly on the stairs, which detracted from the overall impression.

The food in the restaurant WAS delicious. I especially enjoyed the steak and chips. the restaurant offered EXCELLENT value for money. A bottle of wine complemented the meal perfectly.

My room had a very comfortable bed and also all necessary amenities. the duvet was cosy. I slept soundly each night. the room also had everything we needed.

The location WAS great. Close to attractions like the lady lever art gallery, a short distance away. the hotel IS well-situated for exploring the surrounding area and nearby landmarks.

The staff was very attentive and addressed all my questions efficiently. the duty manager handled a minor issue professionally. This resolved my concern promptly. the team cares about guest satisfaction.

The shower was a mess to figure out. The bath was super slick, I was worried about falling. Lights needed to be closer to the bed, I had to get up to turn them off. I could hear some dude snoring next door and had to keep the TV on all night to drown out the noise, that sucked.

The breakfast service really needs improvement. Staff seemed untrained and inattentive. I spilled coffee, and I received a cloth to clean it myself! They did not offer assistance or a refill. my table had crumbs. The staff did not clean it, even with only a few other guests present.
