peeling wallpaperlimited counter
the room showed signs of wear. the wallpaper was peeling in several places, and stains marked both the ceiling and carpet. i also found the bathroom rather cramped, burdened by too many towels and toilet paper rolls. there was limited counter space for personal items.

i found the location excellent for exploring the area. the room was comfortable. the hotel provides a microwave and a small sink, i found this useful. also, there is a refrigerator available in the room, which i appreciated.
the air conditioning unit was quite noisy, it made it a little difficult to sleep soundly.

the staff was friendly and accommodating, i appreciated the warm welcome. bell hop gentlemen were very helpful and professional, they provided great assistance. i was pleased with the quick and efficient service .

the architecture has a lovely charm, i liked the building's character. the size of the rooms was larger than expected, it was a pleasant surprise. the hotel offered free coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, nice.

indifferent stafftrash-filled alley
I must admit, the customer service left a lot to be desired. the front desk staff seemed indifferent, and getting any kind of assistance seemed like pulling teeth. i had paid extra for a supposed "view," but my room on the 5th floor overlooked a rather depressing, trash-filled alley. asking to speak with a manager was pointless. I was repeatedly told there wasn't one available at any time during my three-night stay. it seems that the bell hop gentlemen were the only helpful and professional staff around.
