The InterContinental New York Barclay has 704 rooms and 32 suites. Each room includes an iPod docking station and cable TV with a DVD player. The 275-square-foot Classic Rooms feature Federalist and Park Avenue style with a king or two double beds. Premium City View Rooms feature corner locations with windows on both sides. Suites start at 460 square feet and include a lounge area and a marble bathroom. B Suite Collection by Barclay offers something for everyone.
Dining at The Barclay
The Parlour features modern cuisine and carries a rare selection of vintage beverages. It uses fresh herbs from The Barclay rooftop garden. Breakfast is served, featuring scrambles, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, bagels, fresh fruit, and yogurt. The Parlour is open Tuesday through Saturday for evening service. In-room dining is open for breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and all-day dining from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Wednesdays feature the Cafe Society Jazz Band at The Parlour.

A complimentary fitness center, located on the 3rd floor next to the Business Center, provides state-of-the-art equipment with two Peloton Bikes and is accessible 24-hours daily. i found the classic king room high floor spacious, it included a large work desk. the location is near many attractions! i was pleased with early check-in availability by three hours. the breakfast choice was ample.
the hotel elevators sometimes took a while and seemed to stop at every floor.

The location was convenient, with easy access to various attractions. I had prompt service at the reception. The room offered a comfortable king bed and a decent space for luggage! The hotel arranged transportation to the airport upon my request. I found this helpful.
The breakfast area could be a little crowded during peak hours.

The staff was friendly, assisting with directions and reservations? Check-in was fast and efficient. The concierge assisted in arranging transportation! Housekeeping did a thorough job and responded to requests quickly.

The fitness center included several treadmills, elliptical machines, and free weights. The business center had computers and printers available! High-speed Wi-Fi was available throughout the hotel. There were several lounges for relaxation!

excellent stay in a great location
attentive staff decent fridge spacious room great location
The staff were attentive and helpful. the hotel provided a decent sized fridge in the room. This allowed us to store our own food and drinks. the room was spacious. I found it quiet and clean. the hotel's location made it easy to access nearby attractions.
the amenity fee felt somewhat high, though i used the credit.

the hotel has a very convenient location with short walk to major attractions, including fifth avenue and rockefeller center. the proximity to grand central makes transportation from airports easy, because of the metro access.

Acceptable, but Underwhelming Stay
small room slow service
The hotel's location was convenient.
The room I received was quite small. I also found the service to be lacking. Requests for basic amenities were slow to be fulfilled. It took multiple calls to get extra towels, frustrating.
