i appreciated the fresh flowers in the corridors , it was a lovely touch. the breakfast offered a great variety , i especially liked the waiter service. the turn down service included small thoughtful gifts each night , i found it very nice.
the minibar prices were slightly high , they could be more competitive.

dated bathroommorning noise
i found my room to be a bit disappointing the bathroom felt dated it needed some serious work especially the shower it was not up to par with the rest of the hotel my room was also located near a service area there was some noise early in the morning i could hear staff activity it wasn't a peaceful start to the day i expected better soundproofing given the hotel's reputation.

I found the location wonderful. the hotel's stellar reputation is deserved. All staff members are a credit. I did the guided tour of the original part of the hotel, it was fascinating. I took afternoon tea on the terrace, a must-do. My sea view room was superb.
I noted slightly slow service at the bar. It took a while to get drinks sometimes.

The breakfast offered a good choice of fresh cooked food. A fabulous buffet included exotic fruits. Champagne was part of breakfast. The overall quality made dining enjoyable.

The ceiling was more than twice my height. Large french doors led to a furnished balcony. The balcony overlooked botanical gardens. The sea was beyond, fine.

this hotel is fabulous! from the super warm welcome i received, i knew i was in for a special treat. the service was AMAZING!!! every little detail, like the canapés with drinks at the bar, just added to the experience. i really enjoyed the little treats each evening when they turned down the beds. i will definitely be back soon!
My room was a little disappointing because it felt too small and wasn't on the best side of the hotel. i tried to upgrade, but they didn't let me, a bummer. afternoon tea was also a letdown. It didn't compare to what i've had elsewhere.

great mealsinformative tour
i stayed in a beautiful suite it felt spacious the hotel has many public spaces providing splendid views i made use of the bar in the evenings afternoon tea was definitely a highlight i recommend it. all staff were eager to assist it made everything easier the breakfast restaurant was excellent we had some great meals i found the garden tour worth doing it was very informative.
the minibar wasn't always promptly restocked which was a little inconvenient
