the hotel welcomed us with notably spacious rooms. attentive staff provided assistance around the clock. i found it particularly convenient that they upgraded our room to a very large and comfortable garden suite (it was well furnished!). breakfast was a treat and offered a large menu to order from.
the radio was on upon arrival playing classic fm , made it hard to notice the road noise.
Dining
9/10
breakfast service was of an high standard (my wife thinks it's the best breakfast she's ever had!). food from the pantry was great on the day when the restaurant was closed. dinner was odd with some very strange combinations of flavours.

Wonderful Hotel Experience

helpful staff beautiful garden
The staff showed me around upon my arrival. That was appreciated. I could use the spa facilities prior to my check in time, very convenient. I also found the gardens beautiful and peaceful. I thought my spacious room was well decorated and very comfortable.
The lack of a fridge in my suite was an inconvenience. I had hoped to store some leftover cakes. I saw a note cute a previous guest along with a decanter containing leftover wine. I found this a bit unappealing
Rooms
9/10
My room included a very spacious area with complimentary tea and coffee. A coffee machine was included in the room, and the bathroom provided two showerheads alongside a large bathtub. Everything was clean. The artwork throughout the chateau was interesting.
Service
10/10
The staff was helpful and plentiful, always ready to assist with any requests. I was greeted warmly, and felt welcome throughout my stay! The receptionist especially was a credit to the hotel. They made sure I had everything I needed.
Location
9/10
The hotel is located a short drive from the city center. It took about five minutes. I walked to town in about 25 minutes, which I thought was manageable. The hotel's proximity to Royal Victoria Gardens is also a definite advantage.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast offered excellent choices that set me up for the day. The hotel offered delicious breakfast options. Make sure you opt for them. There were several choices, and the food tasted fresh. I thought the dining room had a relaxing atmosphere.
