my room had thick curtains. they helped block out the light. the breakfast buffet was extensive. i especially enjoyed ordering omelettes from the staff (they were fantastic!). the location was really convenient to the train station.

my room did not have much storage space. this would have been a problem for a longer stay. the building felt quite old. i could hear noises from other rooms. the bed was also too soft for my liking.

the staff were pleasant and polite. they were very accommodating to my requests. the breakfast was great. (especially the pancakes!) the location near the harbor made getting around easier.

The room decor was a little disappointing. it seemed simple and outdated. the building is old, so i could hear sounds from other rooms. (creaking doors and conversations were noticeable.) the bed was not especially comfortable. The mattress felt very soft.

The valet service was quick upon arrival. My room provided a serene view. I found the watersupply in the bathroom to be quite strong and reliable. This made showering very refreshing after a long day exploring.

I found the beds to be much too soft. This impacted the quality of sleep . An outdoor terrace would have greatly enhanced the experience.

The staff demonstrated care for important dates with amenities for my anniversary. The Concierge helped arrange flowers at breakfast to surprise my wife. The entire hotel staff seemed invested in making our day amazing.
