the evening meals were not a four-star standard i observed many guests went out to dinner i also believe the hotel placed too much emphasis on the eco theme, it made the hotel dull i expect a higher level of service and ambiance.

I found the staff very friendly. My room offered comfortable bedding. Breakfast included many choices. The hotel maintains quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Balansie beds are available for a fee. It is a treat.

I find the pavements near the hotel have dog poo, and local bins. This is unpleasant close to a hotel.

the hotel staff was very helpful. the restaurant food was perfect. the room was comfortable and well maintained by the staff. i enjoyed the afternoon sun on my balcony. it was room 121. the views over the estuary were good, especially watching the yachts.

the hotel often reminded guests about its eco theme. i did not want constant reminders. the room i had was relatively small. there was space for only one soft chair in a double room. the electrics were complicated to be eco-friendly.
