the staff were really friendly at check-in! we were upgraded to a balcony room for free, a nice extra. the views were fine, and the room was definitely worth the price. the facilities were high quality and the location was very convenient for tourists since it's walking distance to most parts.

the air conditioning and heater made a disgusting, foul, water-type smell when turned on, suggesting the unit was overdue for service. damp towels were folded up and presented on the bed after the room was made up. the room sorely lacked storage space, we had to live out of our suitcases .

the front of house staff were friendly and professional. the staff seemed to know what they were doing and were constantly cleaning and replenishing the buffet. the restaurant staff were great, offering helpful and quick service.
