“This guesthouse suits vacationing families seeking affordable accommodation in a lively area; its central Ambleside location puts guests near dining and public transport. The self-check-in, though practical, contrasts with the potential noise from nearby nightlife. While the coded entry system adds security, light sleepers should consider bringing earplugs.”

central locationdirty roomstrange smell
the central location was acceptable for exploring the area. check in was convenient with key codes sent via text.
I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness. I noticed cobwebs in the room. there was also a strange smell that resembled vomit. i had to keep the window open throughout my stay to try to air it out.

Central Location, Mixed Experience

central locationfaulty toilet flushunpleasant smell
The hotel was very central, which suited my travel plans well.
The room smelled unpleasant, like there might be dead rodents somewhere in the building. The shower didn't work correctly. There was no hot water and the shower unit leaked. the toilet flush was faulty.

distant carparknoise nuisance
the parking situation was a real issue. i had to walk quite a distance from the car park, almost half a mile, inconvenient. also, the car park was prone to flooding, a problem. it forced me to find alternative parking spots. the noise was persistent throughout the night.
