my room, a standard double room, had a comfortable bed. the breakfast included a refrigerator stocked with juice and yogurt , a nice touch.

i found the staff very helpful and kind, especially during breakfast. the breakfast room was clean. there was lots of choice with cereals, croissants, toast, and fruit. fresh milk and yogurts were available in a fridge. i loved the fresh start to my day!
i found that the walls in the room were a little thin.

the pub had a traditional feel with well-kept interiors. free parking was available, very convenient for us. the range of drinks offered was good. the prices were reasonable too.

the location gave easy access to the m6, made navigating the lakes simple. driving to the top of the lakes took about one hour. i found the access very convenient.

The staff were very cute as soon as i arrived. i was shown around the facilities and then taken to my room. the room was clean and had everything i needed. locally sourced soaps were available in the bathroom. It was clean too.

the food was delicious and reasonably priced in the restaurant, i thought. it was served quickly. the breakfast was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

ample free parking is available. the location allows for easy access to the lake district and the m6. the bar, lounge, and restaurant were very nice with excellent food and atmosphere.

The view from my room left much to be desired. It faced directly into another room. Privacy was minimal. I also found storage options to be severely lacking. There was no chest of drawers or even a simple table. The so-called included breakfast was laughable with meager offerings in a charmless room.
