enchanting stay at a treasured hall

friendly staffgood sizecooked breakfastlifeless room
The staff was very friendly and helpful. they was so nice, especially the night shift employee. the room had good size, comfort, and cleanliness. I wish i knew where they got those pillows. breakfast included well-cooked options, with a choice of croissant and cereal, but i mostly enjoyed the cooked breakfast so much.
i found the room quite lifeless in contrast to the reception area. the furniture and bed were lovely however the room atmosphere seemed lacking. the toilet was unflushed upon my arrival with urine inside. i noticed the absence of shampoo or body wash in the shower.
Facilities

the grounds surrounding the building presented a good space for leisurely strolls, suggesting even greater appeal during the summer months. i observed they maintained all the hall's amazing original features while implementing modern and cute rooms. the internal space is very well maintained and looks excellent.

Acceptable, but some issues

historical feelingstaff shortagelack of attention
The building had a real historical feeling about it.
I found that they don't have many staff. It seemed they take on duties across the board at this hotel. This caused some delays and a lack of dedicated attention. The staff seemed stretched thin.

Decent experience at the venue

spacious roomcomfortable bedhelpful staffunflushed toiletlifeless roommissing toiletries
The room was quite spacious, and I found the bed comfortable for a good night's sleep. The included breakfast was a treat, especially the full English option. The staff were polite (they were always smiling).
Upon arrival, I noticed the toilet hadn't been flushed, a rather unpleasant start. The room felt a bit lifeless, unlike the more vibrant reception area. There were no toiletries available in the shower, so I had to request them.
