Review summary

The Westmorland Inn is praised for its excellent location right on the main street and close to a convenient car park. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms, often described as clean, well-equipped, and offering great value for money. The food also gets high marks, especially the generous portions and quality of dishes like fish and chips, enjoyed in a nicely decorated bar and dining area. While some guests have noted the lack of breakfast on-site, the proximity to cafes like Alpine compensates for this.

convenient stay NEAR Windermere

dog friendlyrestaurant foodplastic fittings
THE location was convenient, situated between Windermere and Bowness. I found the room spacious, and my dog was welcome. Food service was available in the restaurant. I felt the food quality was very high for A long time.
I noticed noise from other rooms. I could clearly hear conversations. The bathroom was dated, with plastic fittings and a loose shelf above the sink. I would have liked increased sound insulation.
Service
9/10
staff was receptive upon check in, behind the bar. I discovered check out to be easy and straightforward. The restaurant offered efficient service, and the staff was attentive to our needs, showing professionalism.
