i liked the parking on site. it was easy to use. the meals were a bonus. i found dinner had good variety and was well prepared.

my room was a bit damp. it smelled musty, maybe it was because i was downstairs.

the location was really good, the castle was easily reached. the breakfast was fine and the evening meals tasted delicious. the room was big. the atmosphere felt good at the pub, it was busy.

the bathroom light wasn't working, it didn't turn on, it was an inconvenience. the shower wasn't more than a trickle, the water pressure was too low. the bed wasn't that comfortable, the pillows were too flat.

the staff was friendly. free parking was available, convenient. breakfast was included, and that saved some money.

the shower took a long time to get hot. i found one side of the mattress quite sunk, so sleeping wasn't ideal. there was no air conditioning in the room.

The hot water situation proved unacceptable. The shower lacked adequate temperature. It took a considerable time to warm, quite annoying. I expected immediate hot water in a hotel of this supposed caliber. the noise levels were troubling. My room suffered from noises both from the street and the interior. It disrupted my sleep on multiple occasions.

the location worked very well. it was quiet despite being in the city centre. the staff held onto my watch after i left it in the room. i returned to collect it.

the room felt a bit tired. the bathroom, especially, seemed worn.
