The staff was helpful. They sang Happy Birthday when the cake came. The food choices were great and served quickly! Housekeeping were really nice. It.
The hotel is old. It could be dark in décor. All walls had brown tones.

The hotel has a fabulous area for walking. There is a free car park directly outside the hotel. A bus stops right outside. It runs hourly to Glasgow and makes transport connections.

I agreed a menu with Caroline, who was very helpful. She organised personalised menus for the tables. The bar area is a great social space. Fabulous food was at a good price!

the room i got was smaller than i expected it was difficult for two people to move around freely the walls seemed thin i could hear noises from other rooms pretty clearly the breakfast timing was also inconvenient it felt too early and rigid

the staff were friendly enough, i will give them that.
The room was tiny, a real letdown. i booked a double, but the bed barely reminded me of a double. also, some strange noise kept me up at night. Sounded like a heat pump or something similar, it was very frustrating.

i arrived and found ample parking behind the building. my superior double room was ready. it had nice toiletries and quality tea and coffee.
the wifi signal in my room was sometimes a bit weak, i guess its just a location thing.

the room was spacious the shower was a nice size. the bed was super comfy breakfast was lovely with a variety of cooked options.
the decor felt dark everywhere especially in the room. the walls seemed thin we could hear noises from the adjacent room
