Character rooms are grand, quirky, and have period furnishings, with some featuring large bay windows overlooking the garden.
Dining: Scottish Cuisine
The Oak Room restaurant serves lunch and dinner, specializing in Scottish cuisine with a modern twist. The hotel sources ingredients from within 50 miles, supporting local producers. The daily menu is available Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday to Sunday from 12 noon to 8 p.m. The Steak Night menu is available on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Afternoon Tea features dainty sandwiches, hand crafted savouries, a home baked scone with preserve and a selection of delicious sweet pastries and desserts, served from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Guests can select teas from Eteaket, a Scottish brand.
