i am back home after staying four nights. my classic double room was nice. it included tea making facilities and plenty fresh towels were available. the menu had amazing food and the dinner options were superb.
the bath had no shower curtain.

I found friendly staff. I booked a suite, it was spacious with a garden view. The garden had swings for kids, a wooden play frame, and a slide.
The hotel lack a lift, forcing guests to use dirty stairs.

I really enjoyed the delicious breakfast! the staff was friendly and very helpful. They even remembered my name after the first day. i appreciated the hotel's history and the scottish theme. the building had swords and shields on the walls, it was quite a sight!
The shower in the bathroom was not very clean. There was dust on the fan. the kettle looked very old.

my room was a classic double room, and it was very clean and tidy! the bathroom also looked immaculate. the new pillows and duvets added extra comfort, i slept really well each night.

the room was spacious it had a lovely garden view. the staff seemed genuinely friendly and helpful. the location was very convenient with many attractions nearby i liked that a lot.
i noticed that the breakfast setup could be improved a bit a separate table for juices and cereals would be nice. the corridors had sensors controlling the lights but i think the positioning needs to be adjusted. the stairs remained dark until you stepped on them this was quite a surprise.

i found the staff very helpful. they were attentive to my requests. the private garden at the rear of the hotel was excellent. my room overlooked this garden.
the toilet door in my room did not close properly. there was a large gap. this meant i had no privacy. the shower was stuck on cold.
