our room had modern furnishings and felt very spacious, i loved it. the room had a luxurious feel to it and a really nice vibe.
The breakfast selection felt limited. I was a bit disappointed. also, the receptionist seemed eager to sign me up to spend more, even though we had already paid for our service!

Acceptable Stay

lovely welcomecomplimentary mince piesdirty carpetingslow drain
Sumatry gave us a lovely welcome during Christmas week. We were offered complimentary mince pies and mulled wine. This hotel made us felt very welcome.
The carpeting in my room was not vacuumed . The shower drain was very slow, so water ran onto the floor.

Satisfactory stay, some minor issues

helpful staffoutdoor spacequick deliverymissing hangerconnecting doorfaulty coffee maker
The staff were helpful. Extra items were delivered quickly. I requested extra hangers and milk, and they arrived promptly. There was also a nice outdoor space behind the restaurant. The front desk staff provided useful bicycle parking advice.
The bathroom lacked a place to hang the shower towel. There was an adjoining door to the next room, so I could hear noise. The coffee maker only worked once out of several attempts!
